What is an Assesment?

What is a Fitness Assessment?

A fitness assessment evaluates your current fitness level, identifies strengths and areas for improvement, and helps design a personalized workout plan. It covers strength, flexibility, mobility, and body composition to align your fitness journey with your goals.

In-Person Fitness Assessment Steps:

  1. Initial Consultation: We discuss your fitness goals, health history, and specific areas you want to focus on or improve.
  2. Movement & Mobility Screening: You perform basic movements (like squats or lunges) so we can assess your form, flexibility, and range of motion.
  3. Strength & Endurance Testing: We measure your current strength and endurance levels with exercises like planks or push-ups, tailored to your fitness level.
  4. Body Composition Analysis: We use measurements (such as weight, height, and if available, body fat percentage) to establish your starting point and track progress.
  5. Goal Setting & Program Outline: We review the results and create a fitness plan that best supports your goals.

Virtual Fitness Assessment Steps:

  1. Video Consultation: We connect via video to discuss your fitness goals, health history, and any areas of focus or limitation.
  2. At-Home Movement Screening: With guidance, you perform basic movements on camera, allowing us to assess your form, mobility, and flexibility.
  3. Self-Reported Strength Test: Based on available equipment, you perform simple strength exercises (like bodyweight squats or wall sits), and we guide you in measuring your performance.
  4. Self-Measurements: We guide you on taking basic measurements (like weight and waist circumference) to create a starting point.
  5. Customized Plan Creation: After analyzing the results, we discuss a personalized program that aligns with your goals.
